VibeMaster ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how
we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Key Point: VibeMaster does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external
servers. All your settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Information We Collect
VibeMaster operates entirely on your device and collects only the minimal information necessary to provide
its functionality:
- App Settings: Your preferences for haptic feedback, scheduled profiles, per-app
settings, and notification controls are stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage
mechanisms.
- Crash Reports: If you have opted in, anonymous crash reports may be collected via
Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve app stability. These reports do not contain personally
identifiable information.
- Analytics: Basic, anonymized usage analytics may be collected via Firebase Analytics to
understand how the app is used and to improve features. No personal data is linked to these analytics.
Permissions We Request
VibeMaster requires certain permissions to function. Here's why we need each one:
- Modify System Settings: Required to change haptic feedback and vibration settings on
your device.
- Accessibility Service: Used solely to detect which app is in the foreground to apply
per-app haptic settings. We do not collect or transmit any data from this service.
- Notification Access: Used to intercept notifications for selective vibration control.
We do not read, store, or transmit notification content.
- Exact Alarms: Required to trigger scheduled haptic profiles at precise times.
- Do Not Disturb Access: Optional, used to control DND mode as part of scheduled
profiles.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using:
- Android Jetpack DataStore for preferences
- SharedPreferences for legacy settings
No data is uploaded to external servers or cloud services by the app itself.
Third-Party Services
VibeMaster may use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting (if you opt in).
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymized usage statistics.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring: For app performance optimization.
These services are governed by Google's Privacy
Policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. The only data that leaves
your device is anonymous crash and analytics data if you have opted in to those features.
Children's Privacy
VibeMaster is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
